The format for getting a book published can be a very complex one; however, at we have simplified the process to make it easier for all involved and also allow you, the author, to start earning royalties from your written works immediately. The process for getting a book published will generally involve the following steps:

Step 1 - The author submits the written proposal to the publisher (How2Become).

Step 2 - The publisher reviews the work and makes an informed decision as to whether the work is suitable for publication.

Step 3 - A contract is drawn up which is agreed and signed by both parties.

Step 4 - The author completes the entire works to a deadline before it goes to proofread and typeset.

Step 5 - Once the artwork is agreed the book is printed and prepared.

Step 6 - The publisher then sells the works on behalf on the author who receives a royalty per unit sale.

Of course, the process for getting a book published is more complex than the above; however, these steps will give you a brief idea as to how we work and steps that we take when publishing an authors work.
