Reason #1 why the hiring manager wants you to introduce yourself is that it gets you talking – you will, understandably, be the most nervous at the start of your job interview.

Giving you the chance to talk about yourself really helps to calm interview nerves and ensures you perform to the best of your ability during the interview.

I recommend you briefly mention the top 4 strengths you have that will add value to their team.

Tell the hiring manager how excited you are to get started in the role, and what you plan to do to make a difference.
